seems like the prices are pretty much the same, being I am fat and lazy and I coul'dnt find any similar threads, anyone want to give a quick rundown of a comparison of these two Engine Management choices

only thing hondata has going for it is obd2 compliance and a tuner interface that is a bit easier on the eyes.. and even then you have to change a bunch of sensors to be fully compatible in an S2K application.

ok, looks like AEM it is, now if I use my EBC, I dont need an AEM Boost solenoid correct?

lol, this has been covered a million times and ultimately comes down to preference.

I prefer the AEM, I think it's a simpler setup (not two ECU's put together) and more powerful. tuned right it'll start and run better than stock. it's also more powerful but some of the extra features the normal user may never use.

hondata works just fine, it's simpler feature wise which is a plus for some. if you need to be OBD compliant or have an 06+ DBW then it's really the only choice available.

that's the short version, be prepared for this to turn into a flame war. AEM users will say it's best, Hondata will say that's best. both will tune fuel and timing just fine. any competent tuner will be able to tune both just as well but it's worth seeing what your tuner is most competent with.

assuming you want the EMS to control the boost, you are correct.

I kinda prefer having multiple boost settings though so I stuck with the EBC
