will the hondata flashpro for the s2000 eliminate any check engine light?

-in my case i have an airpump problem. will this permantly erase the cel so i can get it inspected?

-will it erase ANY code (permantly)

yes i can get an airpump or the delete kit but, i plan on doing alot more engine work so i want the hondata flash pro.

-what else can i do to delete the cel for the air pump? is there any other electronic systems or other ways to do this other than getting an airpump or the delete kit.

i doubt anything will erase a code yet still let you pass inspections(depending whats inspected) i figure OBD II??

 

the only viable thing i know of that allows engine tuning and pass smog is the hondata k-pro. lucky us, for a mere $2000 we too can have one

Kpro can erase CEL's. But the airpump is an emission control so even if you disable it, the car still won't pass smog

 

The air pump is just for cold starts, so it would not matter for a regular emissions test.

 

I agree. With Kpro my car doesn't even look for it. Never done an emission test so I don't know how that works...do they start the test with the car cold or just when you show up?
