Issues and support for LINK ECU in Central Florida
Just wanted to chime I am having this exact same issue. I’m running the Link G4X with their can lambda setup, everything bought brand new. I’ve tried many different solutions and haven’t figured it out yet. Link wants me to hook up another wideband and gauge to make sure the link sensor is reading properly which I mean this thing is brand new why wouldn’t it be.
Welcome to the club, there’s several of us. If you look at my last post, I installed the factory ecu and all the problems appear to have gone away. I’ll be driving the car more next week to fully confirm though. If the problems are gone, then this is a LINK and/or Tuning issue that no one can seem to solve.
FWIW, I’m leaning towards this is more of a LINK issue. I know numerous people tuned by Evans on AEM and none of them have any issues. The car drives like stock but with more midrange and top end power! The fact that the ECT calibration was off and showed my car overheating from the get go kinda supports that theory also.
hopefully someday someone can figure out why the cars are doing this and fix the issue. I’m not selling mu LINK stuff cause I actually did really enjoy the power gain and midrange the tune provided. I’ll gladly reinstall everything once these issues are sorted out.

Since my account is new I can’t pm anybody, and yes I performed the same test. I drove the car long enough to make the issue present, I then plugged in my stock ecu and immediately it wasn’t doing it, plugged the link back in after and it was doing it.
Appreciate that! I already have the factory ecu back in but for what it’s worth, if you have an email I’ll send you a couple logs. Wont let me attach them here for some reason
So had a chance to drive the car for a long time today. Drove the car over to LHT performance to have the oem o2 sensor wires repaired from the splice for the AEM wideband. The shop is a two hour drive one way from me. Car was nice and hot and never once did it stutter, hesitate, or buck at any speed!
The car started perfectly every time and also did not show that it was overheating at all (which confirms the standard LINK S2000 ect calibration is off). We switched the calibration to the Honda K20 file which showed the car not overheating either but that’s not what LINK comes with when you first install. Jeff was sure my car was actually overheating. Still an unnerving feeling cause I never knew if the Honda K20 calibration was correct and what temp my car was actually at.
overall, unless some more support comes for LINK in the future, I don’t see myself going back. The car was faster but that was the only good it did. Driveability just isn’t there with this ecu
