Default K-Pro and PLX Kiwi

Im considering buying the PLX Kiwi and torque software for my K-pro'd AP1 S2000. Anybody try this yet? I am trying to avoid running gauges in my car.

If you are trying to avoid gauges, then just dont run gauges

I dont see what the point of that is if you dont want gauges, as then you will sometimes have gauges.

If you sometimes want to see whats going on, then you could hook up your laptop or set kpro to datalog, and not spend any extra $.

I was looking for something to be more...handy...than a laptop. Im just curious if the k-pro will pass the wideband signal through the obd port. I would want to monitor the wideband I run to the k-pro. Yes I realize what a wideband does and doesnt on k-pro.

I am also considering buying a smart phone to replace my worn out mp3 player, and old style phone. So Ive been thinking about buying this setup for obd monitoring. many thing in one basically.

Oh, which wideband, the only way i think it would work is if you use the rsx o2, otherwise you have to feed signal through ELD, and that probably doesnt show up via OBD.

Maybe ask in the rsx o2 thread if someone can hook up an OBD reader.

Yes I run it and the kiwi will only relay parameters that the ECU can see. You can also use it for data log, DTC checking and clearing.
