Default Knock control flashpro

I was messing around with the flash pro for my buddies car and I noticed his car is retarding timing around 20 degrees in the midrange RPM causing a hesitating sputter.

Then I tried to disable his knock sensor in the calibration tab.

Went for a part throttle pull and its still pulling timing like crazy.

His car is boosted with a greddy kit at 7lbs, but what else is causing the car to pull timing like that even with the knock sensor disabled??

I resolved all my knock retard issues by adjusting the knock sensitivity tables. I think that would be way better than disabling the knock sensor. You can do a quick test by just doing a -10% adjustment on the whole table.

That I understand, just trying to figure out what else causes knock retard other than the knock sensor

I don't think anything else causes "knock retard", but there are several things that cause retard (IAT, ECT, MAP).
