Default Kpro, Flashpro Vs AEM EMS

Have a 2008 CR dedicated track car thus no AEM plug and play. We are considering switching out Throttle body and other pieces to use an AEM. (No drive by wire AEM) However if we can make similar power gains for our N/A Track Car we would prefer to not convert everything..

Sorry if there is a thread on this allready but this seems a place to have one.
Thanks

I'm note sure what the question is so here's a general answer. You'll make the same power with KPro, FlashPro or AEM, assuming each is tuned correctly. Thus it comes down to features, reliability and easy of use - you'll need to evaluate each of these items for your requirements. However, for a track car, using the stock ECU and not touching / altering any of the wiring or mechanicals in the vehicle would be a big plus.

We have an AEM EMS. If I had it to do over again, I'd do FlashPro.

AEM's cold start is uber weather temperamental.

Completely agree on the AEM starts.

AEM is 16 x 16 resolution for RPM vs fuel/ignition timing.
HKS is 32 x32.

What is K Pro?

KPro - 20* 16 for the lowcam and 20 * 16 for the highcam
FlashPro - 20 * 20 for the lowcam and 20*20 for the highcam

Sorry to correct you, but AEM is actually 21 x 17 on all of the timing and fuel tables.

AEM starts are only temperamental if your tuner didn't set them up right.... Anyway MoTeC FTW

My AEM starts like a bone stock S2000 regardless of temps. If you are having cold start issues with an AEM, you should look elsewhere for the problem, it's not the AEM causing it. I would venture to say that the issue with cold start is greatly user/tuner influenced.

Maybe you should ask the AEM what it thinks, cause I don't think it knows unless you tell it.
