... and IMHO flashpro is a joke it sucks on one the k20 in the civic si and its not going to b much better for the s2k.. i have a 06 s2 and trust me the drive by wire is the first thing going..

with flash pro u can not 100% fully tune ur car.. all it is is a reflash that u can do urself..
What makes you think you can't 100% tune your car with a FlashPro?!? This is the 2nd time I've asked you.

i just want to say that I live in Virginia and have the AEM 1052. On the same tune my car starts ups in 90 degree weather and 28 degree weather. i say it is on the tuner not the system.

If you take your Hondata powered vehicle to someone who isn't proficient with the Hondata system, it will run like garbage.
This needs some clarification.

The FlashPro comes with the stock maps so out of the box the car starts and runs like stock.
Far fewer tuning changes are needed than if you were to start from scratch.

the basemaps like hondata said are basemaps. Remember the term is BASEMAP.

Regarding cold start issues. A lot of people on 8th civic with bolt on mods are having cold start issues. It does come down to temperature compensation settings and getting them right. It's all in the tuners hands

Flashpro is really good for the Civic Si. What are you talking about?

yes i know its drive by wire but there are ways around that swap heads to a ap1 and u already have all the parts u need for kpro..

and kpro can be had for 1300 bucks witch isnt miles apart.. motec is close to 4500 thats miles apart.... and IMHO flashpro is a joke it sucks on one the k20 in the civic si and its not going to b much better for the s2k.. i have a 06 s2 and trust me the drive by wire is the first thing going..

Ok everybody reading or browsing this thread now. Completely ignore this clown, he obviously has never used any of the units he's commenting on.

He has an 06 s and dbw is the first thing going? apparently he doesn't realize that dbw is superior to throttle cable in just about every way once you start tuning your throttle maps and you turn off the dampening that is present in the ecu.

No dampening = hello cable throttle feel.

This thread is about as old as the FlashPro itself.
