My AEM starts like a bone stock S2000 regardless of temps. If you are having cold start issues with an AEM, you should look elsewhere for the problem, it's not the AEM causing it. I would venture to say that the issue with cold start is greatly user/tuner influenced.

Maybe you should ask the AEM what it thinks, cause I don't think it knows unless you tell it.
x2.

The bottom line is that AEM and Hondata both make an excellent product. Both systems have some different features that may apply better to one application or setup over another.

If you take your AEM EMS powered vehicle to someone who isn't proficient with the AEM system, it will run like garbage. If you take your Hondata powered vehicle to someone who isn't proficient with the Hondata system, it will run like garbage. I would pick your system based on your tuner's recommendation and pick your tuner based on many referrals from other customers (not based on someone that has a high post count on the forums).

I have the AEM 1052 with wide band. How easy would it be to replace the AEM with the Kpro? And is the Kpro ODB2 compatible for emissions? One more question. My current numbers with the AEM and Supercharger are 439whp and 266 lbs trq. Will the Kpro supply the same numbers?

Thanks....

Does Flashpro have data logging? Wideband sensor? what advantages are there to going with an AEM over Flashpro?

not to mention 5000 other advantages including DBW
if its nothing more then a track car then yes motec... it can give u alot of things u can use.. but aem does have problem with cold starts if and only if its not tuned right... kpro is very very good and very user friendly...

its really going to come down to price..
aem and kpro are close to the same..
flash pro is the cheapest but MIGHT leave u wanting more if its a track car..
motec is by far the most .. but like most things u really do pay for what u get...

but this is just my 2 cents

every kpro is OBD2 .. remember it was for the k20a and a2 before anything..
now it wouldnt be to hard to switch over.. but here is one thing that was said that is so so ture.. ask ur tuner first.....

example: td autowerks in mia can tune kpro but doesnt like to cause it takes more passes on the dyno to make the same power as aem... but i would rather tune kpro cause its more user friendly..

now if u already have aem stay with it.. u arent going to see any different number..so whats the point in switching

aem ems and krpo are miles apart wiht respect to price. you can get a used 1052u for about 1100 shipped.

but his car is DBW, so personally i would do flashpro to start with and see if you can tune everything the way you want. i bet you will be fine with it.
yes i know its drive by wire but there are ways around that swap heads to a ap1 and u already have all the parts u need for kpro..

and kpro can be had for 1300 bucks witch isnt miles apart.. motec is close to 4500 thats miles apart.... and IMHO flashpro is a joke it sucks on one the k20 in the civic si and its not going to b much better for the s2k.. i have a 06 s2 and trust me the drive by wire is the first thing going..

with flash pro u can not 100% fully tune ur car.. all it is is a reflash that u can do urself..
