low numbers with FlashPro tunned Kraftwerks
I noticed that even with the standard reflash that comes with the kit, the Vtec kick is smooth but mine is not, obviously that part needs to be worked on, but I dont know if would increase significantly the top end. I ll be very happy if it will make some close numbers to other stock guys. The financial effort to get FlashPro, IDs 1000 and tuning will be worth it only if I ll see some decent gains. I even got a new ACT clutch expecting gobbles of torque....
I do not have the datalogs from the dyno pulls, I will try to get them. Now I got the chek engine light, about one week after instal. I recorded several minutes of dataloging while running the car around to try to figure out what code I got, but the 'code' icon does not show anything...Pls remember that I am a newby and today it is the first time I saw a datalog. I wish I could post the datalog here. The AFRs are all over the place from 10 while accelerating to 29.4 in gear 4 at 30 mph. It looks like I need a pro to check it out, is it safe to drive it?
If you can create a datalog in 3rd gear from about 2500 RPMs to 7000 at full throttle, and send it to gernby2002 at yahoo dot com, I'll check it out. If your AF is in the low 10's, then it's definitely running too rich.
That is a code for the primary O2 sensor you will need to replace it. There is a TSB out for this it affects all 06 models. I had to do mine recently so this is how I know. I highly recommend buying the sensor from honda as it is completely different from the one you will be taking out so there is clearly something different with the sensors. They are not cheap thats for sure 191.24 from Majestic Honda part number 36531-PZX-013.
First: Install a test pipe or HFC
Second: Check your knock (retard and sensitivity) maps in the flashpro. There is a big chance it may be reading engine noise even though its not knock and be pulling timing. I gained 10rwhp on my NA AP2 because the flashpro was pulling 8 degrees of timing in the know retard map. This was on the base map for Intake, header exhaust. Superchargers tend to produce noise and vibrations that trick the flashpro into thinking its knock making them pull timing.
