Because id rather use neptune on the s if I could.and no my prelude is factory obd1 most obd0 and obd2 cars convert to obd1 because the for some reason obd2 cars wont hold a tune. Im trying to get in touch w. Some local friends to figure a better answer for u.and will be in touch

the only reason i see for someone to convert ANY car to a honda obd1 setup is accessibility, familiarity, price, and simpleness of using say neptune, crome, s300 etc.
is it a downgrade for an S2k probably but should it be explored? of course, it would be cool to make a cheap ecu conversion kit for the s2k.

For the whole carb comments, this would be the worst idea yet. Pick up an EFI book and be prepared to be amazed. They're garbage in comparison to multi-port fuel injection.

Seriously, OBD2 >> OBD1 on almost every car. I'm aware of very few tuning packages for OBD1 that are still maintained and can even begin to hold a candle to OBD2 for tuning, reliability, and cost. Different OBD2 years definitely have different tunability, but for the S2000 and many other cars, there are now great OBD2 options. Note, standalone computers alter this discussion.
