Default Noise After Kpro Installation

Hey guys, I really didnt want to start this thread but I could not find anything on this. After installing Kpro on my F22 I noticed a loud humming sound coming from the Icebox of my CT intake. Its always there from startup to cruising. A base map was put on, no actual tuning was done yet. It is very annoying and loud, any idea why its doing it now? My car idles fine, drives fine. Also noticed the temp gauge is always off on a cold start. I.E. it will read 3 bars on a cold start but a few seconds after it will go back to normal
Ideas?

I have the same issue with the temp gauge. It seems to take a few seconds to read correctly after startup.

As for the humming I'm not sure

I found that the base map was not very good. I had to adjust many tables like ECT / IAT compensation tables. Even cranking fuel needed to be adjusted on my stock motor ap2

Temp gauge reading incorrectly for the first minute or so is normal.

Did you have the intake on the car prior to the KPro? These engines have a very loud resonating noise at idle...at least mine did with the airbox lid off.

that's nuts. I am hoping after the visit on the dyno all this can get sorted out. Ill be going turbo. The factory temp gauge is what Ill be using to monitor the water temps so hopefully its accurate.

Dam temp gauge. This intake was on there before the kpro install. your right the resonating noise only occured after the kpro install, this is with the lid on. wonder why that is.

Probably a long shot but it's not the air pump that's causing the noise?
Was just thinking that it could be a setting wrong in kmanager or something.

Kpro doesn't run the air pump, afaik there's no way to change that either.

Good point, I did look at the air pump as well. Its coming from the intake so something related to the intake is making this obnoxious noise. I am being forced to deal with it for another week as my turbo install has been delayed to next week.
