Default PNF vs PRB Kpro unit

I have a friend of mine who has a PNF kpro on his K20 Type R Civic.... He wants to sell the unit.. can I use it for S2000.. I will buy the parts needed like valve cover tdc sensor/wheel..etc.. but does the PNF ECU work?!

What's the difference between PNF and PRB anyway
