Problem Starting Car After Flashing ECU with FP
i understand where you are coming from and don't get me wrong i still think it might be the ecu as well. That was the last thing I did to the car. Drove to a parking lot to upload the map to the ECU. It was doing what it normally does. And then when I went to start the car, it doesn't. I usually look at what I last did to start troubleshoot it.
I want to eliminate as much possibilities as I can before taking it to honda.
I think it still might be the pgm-fi relay as it clicks when I turn it to the ON position. The ecu might control that as well i'm not sure.
I think I found the pgm-fi relay which is near the footwell A/C tube. I can't seem to remove it so I can test it.

I'm guessing that somehow your flashing process resulted in a corrupted binary on the EEPROM. And if this is the case I'm sure Hondata has the proper tools to resuscitate the ECU (i.e an eprom programmer or jtag tools). I agree with gernby that you should try to get Hondata to fix the problem prior to contacting Honda.
ya most likely the flash corrupted the part of the immobilizer or something as it won't read the proper key. Therefore the green key light is blinking. I'm curious about the clicking noise from the relay? maybe its connected with whats wrong with the ecu....
i tried connecting a obd2 scanner to the car and it doesn't even read it so therefore its something to do with the ecu.
ECU and flashpro is currently on its way to Hondata...Hopefully they will figure it out and get me going again.

here is an update to my problem.
After sending the ecu and flashpro back to them, they were able to fix the issue. It was a software glitch. They have correct the issue and put in failsafe to the problem with the latest update.
Why did it happen to me, I don't know. I was on version 1.1.5.6. I didn't upgrade at all. Anyways, they took care of me and resolve the issue. It did sucks that it happen to me. They ensure me that the issue has been resolve and I should not have to worry about this problem again.

Hondata says that this can happen if the FlashPro's firmware is updated by one of the newer versions of FlashPro Manager then used with an older version of FlashPro Manager. Are you absolutely certain that your FlashPro was never connected to a newer version of FlashPro Manager (after 1.1.5.6), even by someone else?
I'm still using 1.1.5.6 myself, since I have no confidence in their beta versions, so I want to make sure I understand the risk.

hopefully i will get some answer by hondata tomorrow.
Wonder how much longer to wait before purchasing until most of the glitches are fixed/corrected?
