Default Question about Knock on Flashpro

Hey guys I'm slowly trying to teach myself the basics of tuning on the flashpro and I have a little question about Knock. What is acceptable knock limits. I can see that as I increase boost to 14psi I start to see knock counts on cyl 2 and 4. Maybe one or two counts per pull. Doesn't seem that the computer ever pulls any timing though. When I'm tuning what is the acceptable amount of knock, and at what level does it start to pull timing? I don't want to destroy the motor. Should I be looking for no knock at all? The car was originally E-tuned by Jeff Evans so i'm working off of his map which shows no knock counts. But I wanted to up the boost slightly to see what the safe limit is on my setup. Also I'm gonna be adding some 110 race fuel to the mix to suppress the knock, how much timing should I be able to add with a 50/50 mix. Should I just increase in 1 degree incremints until I see Knock. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

techincally you want no knock. the level at which it starts to pull timing is all dependent on the knock control tables. imo any tuning with regards to ignition timing should be done on the dyno.

I agree but my access to a dyno is basically nonexistant, plus I'd just be wasting my money as i'm not nearly good enough at tuning to warrant the expense. I'm just slowly teaching myself how to tune my own car. Anyway so I want no knock. So with 93 octane and jeff's timing map I'm limited to around 13.5 lbs of boost. I'm gonna try the 110 fuel mix and up it slowly and see what happens.
