I searched for a clever way to keep the FlashPro connected to the car without having to see wires etc. I didn't find any such thing so I spent some time coming up with a solution that was acceptable to me. With this approach, I have access to the Datalog button, the Datalog Indicator LED, and the USB port. I can also push the unit down further to completely hide it from view if needed. I only had to temporarily remove one screw by the driver's knee to tuck the wire between the panel and the carpet.
