Default self tuning ecu?

Ive been searching about self tuning ecus, but is the emanage black edition by giles the only one available at this point? Are there any cheaper options or is that the one and only ecu that can do self tuning? For a ap2 v1 btw.

If the Giles eManage will self tune (probably fuel only), then I would expect any eManage Ultimate to have the ability to do it.

Can you define self tuning? Fuel, ignition?

With the aem you can program an afr map. Pretty much looks like 14.7 for all cruise and decel (overriden by decel tps cutoff anyway so no Actual feedback on decel) with something around 13afr for wot and a few steps between 13 and 14.7 for heavy part throttle.

With laptop plugged in, aem has buttons to 'follow' ecu exactly on the map, and (minimize feedback by calculating the correction needed to get the target afr at the time then modifying the map) on the exact spot of the map with the press of a button while driving. This also allows for custom scripts where it will automatically reduce feedback every X seconds at a certain gain %. You press on or pause so it can work while driving and it updates the map on the fly while driving.

Realtime programming is awesome

Greddy EMU only has a AF target map based on wideband feedback, basically populates cells to meet a require AFR range - but it sounds better than it is.

Self tuning as in I dont need to bring it to a tuner to get the af ratios in open loop tuned, like how the emanage black does it automatically. Just looking for a cheaper option then that.
