Hey all... Wednesday I took my S2K out for a quick spin, brought it home and parked it. Yesterday I went out to the car, unlocked it with the keyless, put the key in, and when I hit the start button, everything shut down. All the interior and gauge lights went out. The keyless remote also did not work. It's almost as though my battery was dead, except, it's not. As I approached the car I had hit lock rather than unlock, so the lights flashed and the horn sounded. It's not the battery. I locked the car manually and 10 minutes later tried again. Sure enough, everything was back to normal, but once again when I hit the start button, it all shut right bck down.

Any ideas on what this could be?? I'm getting laid off soon and would hate to take it to a shop and spend hundreds for a fix, when perhaps someone else might have a simple solution or suggestion. THANKS GUYS!!!

 

Make sure both battery terminals are tight. Look for loose connections. Sometimes they will work until there us a big draw on them(starter).
