Default Strange A/C behavior on AEM ECU

Just curious if anyone can help me understand these settings a little better. I had a stutter with the rpm's when sitting at idle or coming to a complete stop with the a/c on. It would bounce/bog several times before coming to a rest. This seemed to coordinate with the a/c and rad fans clicking on and the associated bog. I searched online, and the closest information to what i think I'm looking for basically said to adjust the load compensation up until the stated load at idle was the same as the load with the a/c on. There seemed to be a point where it just got worse, and the fans would click on, bog the engine, and I'd stall.

I have a mostly stock AP1, AEM v2 CAI, invidia 70mm tp/q300 v4 single, and a tune on the AEM series 1 ecu.

Current A/C settings are as follows, where it was the best I was able to get it so far:

A/C min speed: 700 rpm
A/C off above TPS: 89.1%
A/C on delay: .1 sec
Idle A/C load comp: 7.8%

any insight would help.
Thanks in advance

In for responses, my AP1 will often die when A/C kicks in at idle on AEM 1012

It could be a number of things. Ignition timing, the idle target vs % table, the a/c on delay..

look at the idle learned value with the a/c off, then when the a/c is on. You want that to be close to 0. You might try increasing the a/c on delay a little also.

If that all doesnt help then its probably time to look at the fuel and ignition at idle

raise the AC on delay to around .5-1 seconds, your not giving the engine time to adjust for the load before the compressor engages... Other thing could be timing as mentioned, I've found a timing advance of around 2-5 deg. at idle to be optimal for smooth idle and preventing stalls.

appreciate the responses, will play around with those values and see what improves.
