Default Suggested Fuel Change and Tuning A/F Help.

Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone can explain to me where the suggested fuel change is getting its number from. I did a few logs and then try to apply those changes but it doesn't seem right. Its telling me to take out fuel when I need to add fuel. One area of the map show 13.6 however Suggested fuel say I need to take out -4 percent of fuel which doesn't make sense.

Does it go off of the overlay target lambda (in option)?

I changed the closed and open loop input to stock sensor instead of the correct sensor.

Thank you.

If you are doing full throttle tuning only, then the suggested fuel adjustments are pretty good, assuming your settings in FlashPro manager are correct. I agree that using the stock AF sensor for open and closed loop is the way to go, but I do use a richer target (12.5:1), just in case the sensor really does read rich as Hondata states.

If you are doing part throttle tuning, don't even try to use the suggested fuel corrections UNLESS you are doing something like this. Otherwise, your fuel map will be all over the place.

If you go to Options -> Settings -> Lambda Overlay and enter 12.5 for High Load, then the suggested fuel changes will be targeting that. If your current AFR is 13.5, then it would suggest about +10% to get it to 12.5. Also make sure that the Engine Load setting for High Load is appropriate. Depending on your altitude, you may not ever reach the load that it defaults to. I have mine set to 831 mBar, since my WOT load is usually about 970 mBar.

I just checked the high load setting and its over 1100 mBar as default. No wonder its all over the place. Changed it to over 900 mbar. Thnx gernby.

900 mBar seems high to me. Where do you live? I think anything much above column 7 should be considered "high load"

in California. Pretty close to sea level. Looking at my log, when I go full throttle, its from 940 to 983 mbar. Should I set it lower.
