I think I logged A/F, IAT, RPM, TPS and MAP in this picture.

The log files can be sent to a PC (via e-mail for example) and analyzed with Logworks PC-Software.

The Ipod is mounted in a Tomtom GPS holder, so I can use it for Navigation or Track logger as well (I'm in love with the little gadget)

that is sooo awesome!

Can this same thing be done for the iPad 2? I plan to have one molded in my dash for video/music purposes and if it can double as a tuning piece that would be sweet!

Yes ipad can do the same thing, but you misread or your hopes are too high if you think you can tune withe this setup.

do you mean this setup does not produce accurate information to tune with? or that some may think you can adjust AFR with it?

Aem series2 with a pink asus 9" netbook lol atom cpu is fast enough to log and tune. Battery lasts like all day...

Aem tuner is workspace customized for the reduced screen size and I changed some hotkeys around for my convenience. I can get a datalog into aemlog, channels overlayed, and cropped data in a click while driving. I can probably make the changes to the map while sitting at a redlight.

I setup all the templates in aem log so I can pretty much analyze most datalogs efficiently esp wot ones.

For comparing data, graphing, and analyzing partial throttle logs in excel or using software dyno I prefer using my desktop with dual monitors. I using work off the flash card anyway on the netbook so its quick to bring data onto my desktop.

It produces accurate information to tune.

You use this thing to log data to the ipod, you can import this data later on to your Quad Core i7 with 8Gb RAM, 3TB Hard drive and triple head 28" LED monitors and do whatever you want with Logworks (which is a decent capable tuning tool)

This web page is based on an older version, but you will get the idea:

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/Stan2.php

Addtionally you can add more sensors than you could ever need.. temperature (EGT, Radiator..) Pressure (oil..) and etc etc...

Maybe there are better tuning tools.. but I am not aware of them (at least in this price range)
