At 470 there is just a little spinning with gear changes. Good sticky 275/40-17 RA-1s on nine inch wide wheels. Sorry, it is from a 20 roll: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0f5abbb...a3e00a75a68.htm
RA1's wouldn't necessarily make for good drag racing tires. Most track/autocross tires are designed to have a relatively stiff sidewall. In drag racing you want a softer sidewall on the launch so you get maximum tire footprint. I'd just get some M/T slicks or a drag radial.

Is it just me, or is this a little low? I know gearing comes into play but id expect closer to 120ish mph trp from a car putting down 470 and being around 2800lbs...

Sorry to burst your bubble but 116 mph is NOT EVEN CLOSE to 470 whp.

Also if your 60' is that bad it's because you suck at driving. Either way 12.9 is not that bad, but trap speeds don't lie and 116 mph is NOT 400+ whp.

I agree . My vortech s2 with 317 whp trapped 109 mph at englishtown . My integra with 427 whp traps 127mph . Granted its lighter by around 200 lbs .

116mph sounds like spinning the 3rd 450whp to me.
