Angry 103k on the clock stock trans

Leaving my shop I always do a little drift coming out in first I catch second and floor it before I hit full boost in 2nd it just gives way and no more 2nd gear. I am not shocked because every since I've been tuned I have not been nice to the drivetrain burn outs hard launches two step anti lag etc. Now what to do the rest of the gears work fine just 2nd what's up with this "par" gearset? I know about the ppg but that's the price of a small compact car. What else is out there? I'm in need of the most cost effective way to build my trans for 700hp not neccessarily trying to go cheap but not spend 9k+ after labor.

I drove around for a month/month and a half last year without 2nd gear. You can still do highway pulls.....hahaha.

Just drain the fluid, and put new in.

No reason to not still drive/enjoy the car while your figuring out what to do.

Just put another stock one in it. That one obviously lasted a long time. It's still a ton cheaper. The last low mileage one I bought I paid $800 for.

Haha yeah I drove from md to va in traffic today without second which is about 35 miles. I was still doing 3rd and 4th gear pulls on the highway lol cause some friends from california wanted a ride. Oh well. I bought my car brand new with the intention to see what it could handle not bad for 500 hp considering the car only came with 200whp. This trans has a lot of runs/pulls/races on it from nitrous to my supercharger to my full race set up. I just want to put something in it that will hold 700hp I don't want to have to do this again.

I actually broke 2nd gear several times in my Subaru too. I drove from Indianapolis to Maryland once, and Indianapolis to Viriginia once with no 2nd.

I'm torture on 2nd gear regardless of what car I've owned...haha.

D@mnit, just limit the power to second gear and it should be fine. LOL I think I only hit full boost in second gear by the top of the gear and mine has been fine.

It doesnt exist. This is the sole reason that I have decided to stop messing with my S2000. I couldnt justify spending that kinda money on a transmission not to mention I needed to spend another 3-4k on a strong diff solution. I wouldnt have gotten a supra if it wasnt for this.
