D@mnit, just limit the power to second gear and it should be fine. LOL I think I only hit full boost in second gear by the top of the gear and mine has been fine.

I'm glad you got it all figured out. I should've kept the stock transmission and slowed the car down.

What ever happen with the MFactory solution they promised awhile ago?? I thought they were going to have a cheaper solution for the S2k???
The problem is when replacing that Chadd, 2nd gear is on the input shaft itself. So you have to replaced the main shaft, 2nd gear on the counter shaft, synchros, then you don't know if any other damage occurs when all the chunks were floating around. It adds up quick. Believe me, I weighed my options when I broke my first trans. Honestly, it's probably pretty close to the same amount of money if you do all the labor yourself.

Rob! I completely understand where your coming from these motors can handle a lot of power but the drivetrain will not hold even with 500 hp. I could probably do a supra swap and drivetrain for the 12 grand I'm gonna spend on a new set up.
I could by a low mileage trans and put it in but when I make even more power and go to the track it will not last. I also want something that's streetable. Might have to parrt the car out and move on to my next project
