Default 10x45mm Bolt

I have completed uninstalling my Comptech S/C in preparation of an upgrad and came across a missing bolt.

What is the size of the OEM bolt which was replaced with the 10x45mm bolt in step #5 on the comptech manual.

There is no bolt there from the factory. The J's ETD mounts there too. They supply a bolt with the ETD and the S/C. It is used to hook a hoist.

So I just leave it without the bolt with the threaded hole uncovered.

Thanks

Yes, that is how it comes from the factory.

I asked exactly the same question when I removed mine.

As mentioned, it's a lift point and doesn't usually have anything in it.

Thanks much. I did not crank the engine for this reason.

The removal of the S/C took me more time then when I installed it 2months ago.

hahahhaa... too funny...

I JUST called someone on this today thinking I was missing mine....

I read the install instructions and they only mention to remove the 3 - 6x bolts and to install the provided 3 - 3x and 1 - 10x bolt.

This made me laugh. I posted in UTH with no response so I started PM'ing the locals with this pic a few weeks ago:
