Red face 11 or 12lb pulley?

Im ready for more boost Currently running a non after cooled CTSC.

My other mod are: Emanage blue, First F1 header, test pipe, Spugen Exhaust and Ricks pullies.

Mods to go along with the new pulley: 550 injectors, FMIC, 2.25" piping, 1 step colder plugs, HKS bov

I know with the front mount there will be some boost loss except I'm not sure how much since everyone loses a different amount. I'm almost tempted to buy both and just see with one works out while tuning.

I'm avoiding to do a head gasket that's why I want to keep it around 10lbs. Also wondering am I going to need a new 3 bar map sensor?

Thanks for you input and suggestions ahead of time

My vote is for 12 psi. Since you are getting your car tuned, there's really no reason why not to go with the smaller pulley. Only thing I'm not sure about is the 550cc's, I think it would be safer to go with at least 650's if not a bit more.

I would have gone 12 psi if I could, but SoS only had 11psi in stock at the time, and I didn't really want to go with the other brands.

Good luck, I went from 9psi to 11psi, and it was really fun.

I would do 2.5 inch pipeing on that ic the plugs a big help and the injectors could be 650 or 750's, other option to think about would be a emanage ulitmate you can do so much more tuning with it. and did you upgrade your fuel pump already?

I run a 3.4 inch pulley and I get approx 9-11psi with my U-R FMIC dependign on the day/weather. I also run NGK BKR7E spark plugs tuned with RC650s and AEM EMS.

damn I thought the 550's would be enough.....but yes I am running a Walbro pump already. I think 2.25 should flow enough and the in/out ports on my i/c are 2.25"

I've been running the 14# (3.0") pulley with 675cc injectors on the stock headgasket for 17k miles...and the motor has 115k on it now. Through the UR FMIC I'm seeing ~12.5psi.

I needed a 3 bar map sensor.

you could max out the blower on the comptech and still won't need to change your hg. Its all in the tune and make sure you have a very good tuner.

just get the smallest pulley so you won't have the "what-if" situation if you wonder how the car would run if you had more power.

this blower maxes at 15lbs of boost just a fyi. either with the 3.0" pulley with a 9k redline or a 3.2" pulley with a 9300rpm redline

chillout i will be running the same setup.12psi with a fmic but i went with 3"piping and 550 injectors.the injectors should be good up to 0r near 400whp.with a little bit of boost loss using the fmic you should make somewhere about 350whp so the injectors should be fine

I heard someone makes a 2.75 pulley for the CT kit. I'm assuming this is for the ap2 with 8k redline. I don't know how you would get any traction with one this small though. My current 3.6 is fussy enough.

yeah Id like to know who makes that...I no not kno the efficiency of the blower other than other people/users "saying" it peaks at 14/15psi.

Id like proof behind this theory...
