So I rolled into first about 5 mph, for just a second and felt tires break loose, hit the limiter and coasted to the stop sign. In 2nd.

Tried to shift into first no dice. It's not gone, like neutral, where it goes and spins, it just won't let me go in gear.

Went home (about 10 mins) and even off she won't go into first.

This was on 10lbs.

Anyone else experience this. Trying to figure out what's up, I'll try to get it pulled this week.

You don't need first anyway....

 

If my clutch wasn't so aggressive I'd agree lol.

Sometimes the reverse mechanism gets a bit stuck and won't let you go into gears. Try taking out the shifter, lubing it and reinstalling. Good luck!

 

mine is a bit notchy going into first. i usually throw it into third or second, then first. but if it wont go at all, could be dead lol.

All the gears work fine, with the exception of first,(well I don't know if I tried reverse or not to be honest).

Your right Cman, always something.

Still battling with the lean issue, I'm 1/2 tempted to send my injectors off to get flow tested and cleaned while this is down to make sure that isn't an issue, and eliminate that problem.

 

I had a shifter fork inside the transmission break on my ctr transmission and the car just rolled in first

You own a hammer? Sometimes you just have to show the car who's boss and force it in
