2.4L stroker or 2.0 Built help me decide
I cannot decied what I want to do for my turbo motor, I currently have a 2.2block that has a spun rod bearing so the crank is toast. It is near impossible to find a 2.2 crank that is in decent condition so I am going to scratch that idea. I was planning on getting inline pro to build me a 2.4L engine using the K24 crank, but I just found a really good deal on a f20c crank($125 dollars for a 20k mile crank. Now my question is for a 500whp max build do you guys think it would be better to go with the F20c Allen built block with sleeves or a 2.4L with factory sleeves?
So my main questions are- (with prices from inline)
How much can factory sleeves for a daily reliably hold?
F20C Allen built motor($3995) or a F24 with stock sleeves($3595)?
Or F20c with stock sleeves ($2795)?

I bought it that way I got a long block for 500 with a spun bearing so it was not bad of deal.
I do have E85 near I am just worried about travel. Is it possible to switch over to 93octane map without flushing your fuel tank out?
I had a lot of people tell me this, but I like the idea of a built motor. Doesn't the life of the motor take a huge hit if turbo? Like the rings are not gapped for turbo and what about arp head-studs and valve train? I might do this I just want this car to be a solid daily drive while still being turbo.
Thanks, for the input guys keep the comments coming!

Right now my car has the following for turbo:
Relocated A/C lines
AEM EMS V1 with serial gauge
I have a ACT HDSS pressure plate and prolite flywheel yet to be installed, because I want to balance it with the motor if I have it built.
I plan to run the stock exhaust with boost actuated cut out controlled by the mute switch on radio control panel.
As far as turbo kits are concerned I am really thinking about the kings performance stage 1 kit.(anyone have any experience with this kit?)

Thank you for the heads up! I guess will look into a stock motor build even Mase told me that the stock motor is fine. What would you guys make sure to upgrade on a stock motor before turbo?
