Default 2.4L Turbo Track Car

Hello Everyone,

Its been some time since I have posted on here but I feel it is time to reveal some of my progress. I have been putting this car together for the last two years now, I was going to build a drag car but decided to go a different route halfway through. I will list the everything I have so far as well as the power levels, the car is not 100% yet still have a few issues to hammer out, a few more parts to go on. Hope you all enjoy what I have so far. The car made 350rwhp on 6psi, and 544rwhp on 17psi. I still need to address the heat coming from the turbo, and downpipe prior to tracking it. Hopefully should have her ready very soon!

Did InlinePro recommend 8700 as the max rpm?

I hate to be that guy. But you are going to have big issues keeping the car cool. Im not ralking about the obvious issues of manifold and hot side turbo parts heat. I am referring to coolant and oil temps.

I recommend a vmount system. Otherwise a dual pass dual core radiator as well as a large oil cooler. I also recommend oil temp and pressure monitoring as well as keeping a close eye on coolant temps. Datalogging while on the track is a must and i also recommend the soon to be released canton baffled oil pan.

Looks good. I think you have all the right pieces to the puzzle. Good brakes. A good suspension. Id stick with street tires until you can address the common oil startvation with slicks and hard driving. And good luck!

Have you worked out the piston speed running a striker to 8700, sure you didn't mean 7700.
