Default 2000 S2000 Turbo.

Hey guys. recently turbo'd my S2K, and I plan on doing my second oil change.

I may drive my car in the winter (MAYBE on a nice day).

Below are my mods, I'm looking for some feedback on what oil to use and why...

(I tried using the search box, but kept getting an error. Help and comments would be appreciated).

ENGINE MODS ONLY:
MOTOR:
- Garrett custom spec t3/t04E turbocharger
- 2.5 downpipe
- fabricated tubular Steel turbo manifold (w/ polished heat shield)
- TiAL 38mm external wastegate
- Stainless Steel Wastegate Dump Pipe
- Large bar and plate front mount intercooler
- 2.5" stainless steel intercooler piping
- HKS super sequential blow off valve
- 3" polished intake pipe with K&N air filter
- RC 550cc fuel injectors
- AEM fuel pressure regulator
- Cat-less cat (essentially a test pipe, but looks like a cat!)
- Ultimate Racing 3" dual exhaust system

ELECTRONICS:
- AEM EMS standalone ECU (tuned at xxxhp!)
- AEM single channel wideband O2 sensor (UEGO)
- SPA technique dual EGT/boost gauge
- Autometer Air/Fuel ratio gauge.

TRANSMISSION:
- Spoon clutch (street)
- Spoon clutch cover
- Spoon release bearing
- Spoon flywheel

i have the exact same setup as you

Depending on how cold it gets around your parts, either run 5w-30 or 10w-30... i personally run mobil 1 and just sent out my oil to be analyzed... i will give updates when it gets processed

oil analysis, it looks at the oil and tells me what is in the oil... copper anti freeze etc... and i paid for the extra option that gives me an analysis of how long the oil will last etc...

I believe there is a whole section called the "oil journals" in the UTH stickie section.... not sure if it touches on FI or not, but it does breakdown what oils are better for cold whether.
