The 6052s are new... they're almost invariably going to have random issues. When I bought my 6052 from Jeff Evans and had the car up to him to tune, he took several extra measures to make sure that everything would work right. The problem is not with the 6052 itself but the AEM software. For some reason the process that updates the firmware on the 6052 via the computer messes things up. This can be a simple fix, AEM just needs to do it. Jeff had AEM overnight another 6052 with the newest firmware on it to him just in case he were to run into problems with mine - AEM paid the shipping.

OP, have you contacted whoever you bought the 6052 from?
What I dont like about AEM is that they seem to get products out before they are ready, and use us to test them wile we waste our own time and money. They use our feedback and come out with software "upgrades" to fix the problem, its a joke. I dont understand is why AEM continues to do buisness like this, its not just AEM either i'm sure.

Turns out it was just a problem with the conversion process in AEMTuner. We were using a map that had been converted from AEMPro and I guess a few values didn't get transferred over...seems like aem would figure this stuff out BEFORE they release it like you guys say. oh well, problem fixed. Apparently you have to change the vss input to T3 instead of "vss" and copy the "tacho" values over from one of AEMTuner's startup cal's into the converted cal because aempro doesn't have tacho...how is anyone suppose to know that? oh well. in case anyone runs into this similar problem, here is the link http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...c,25774.0.html i posted on the aem forum...someone FINALLY answered

Thanks for the help guys!
