I test fit the new radium fuel rail, and mounted the AEM FPR onto the fuel rail. I also bought the plumbing kit so I’ll be ditching the OEM fuel damper / banjo line setup.

I’ll be running the AEM fuel pressure sensor and SOS install kit off the back of the fuel rail with the Radium 8AN ORB to 1/8 NPT adapter.

And to finish up the day, I installed the AEM wideband sensor, reinstalled the cat, and installed the new driver side motor mount.

This is my to-do list up to this point. I’m sure there are things I’m forgetting but this is my plan for the next couple weeks.

Got a few more things done today.

Billman TCT showed up, so I was able to get that installed, the vtec solenoid, intake pipe, filter, OEM heat shield, and put the battery back in.

I also got the radium fuel rail mounted with the ID1700X injectors, SOS fuel pressure sensor kit, AEM SS sensor, and the Radium fuel rail plumbing (to get rid of the OEM banjo feed).

So I got the SOS Flexfuel sensor kit installed but I have to pull out the sensor to trim the tabs for the connector.

if you buy the flexfuel sensor kit from SOS, they trim the tabs prior to shipping the kit. I didn’t know this, but I bought the sensor seperately.

What tabs do you trim and what is the reasoning for trimming them?

when you buy the sensor normally it looks like this. The tab in red gets trimmed off so it’ll fit the connector.

the second photo is how SOS ships their sensor.
you can either trim them yourself, or buy the OEM GM connector and build the harness that way.

Id be careful with where you bought the ethanol sensors, many fakes in the field. I would only buy from a trusted company
