Default 2006 S2000 SOS stage 2 fuel power limit?

Hi,

I'm on my 4th S2000 and would like to boost this one. It's an 06. Stock other than intake/exhaust.

I am going to purchase the SOS Stage 2 kit and would like to run high boost. SOS told me 380whp limit on the stock returnless fuel system, Evans tuning has tuned 06+ to 420, 440whp with returnless system. I plan on running the ID1000 injectors, walbro 255 or some other upgraded fuel pump.

I emailed Evans and am waiting for response, but their dyno database shows several examples.

SOS recommended their in-tank regulator: https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...000-06-09.html

I would like to reach 450whp, but would settle for 400-ish if I didnt have to rip out the fuel system. We have 93 octane here in PA.

What are the actual limits?

I am at 404rwhp on the SOS Novi 1200, ID1000cc injectors, STOCK fuel pump, stock everything else, dyno tuned on 93 octane with FlashPro. I think theoretically you could push it close to 450, but I wouldn't chance it, better to have a safe tune which will be reliable than to push the ragged edge of what is possible and end up with issues or blowing an engine.

I'd stay below 450 on pump gas for safety issues.

My personal experience here...
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo...-92-a-1086804/

lots of info on fueling etc all applicable to your car as mine is an 06 too. The oem fuel system runs out at around 400 whp on a dynojet. One can upgrade to just a fuel pump on a returnless system but for best performance and longevity of the fuel pump a return setup is recommended. I'd recommend a Walbro 450 fuel pump.

The 440whp that is on Evans dyno (which is a dyna pak hub dyno) tends to read about 6-7% higher than a dynojet which is around 405-410 dynojet.

LHT has a video series on Youtube and in one recent one they fit a fuel return system to a late S2000 (2006 or later). Seemed an easy task for them. They have apparently supercharged more than 50 S2000s.

Your car will make more rear wheel horsepower on a hub dyno. That's the number to post on the internet! Your power will drop at least 10% if you put it on a Mustang...

The STOCK fuel pump can flow that much?? Would that be the same amount on an AP1? Basically, could I leave my stock pump in the tank while running a Vortech V2 kit with 5th injector aiming for at least 350 WHP?

Yeah it is cool! That black AP1 has hardly been driven all its life.

The AP2 pump flows quite a bit more than an AP1, you can updgrade to an aftermarket pump, but the limitation is not the fuel pump but the returnless fuel system.

You can make 500whp easy with an in-tank pump and have it return style with the stock rail. I have posted everything you need, it's not hard and it's cheap:
