I just love seening these swap.

http://youtu.be/wJOJdagbHK0

In all honestly I wonder what it really takes.

Engine and r154-Cake
Mounts- Not a big issue Fits in stock mounts I believe. I talked the Ad_turbo about that a Wildd back.
Custom Driveshaft-Nothing big
Remove center crossmember- Nothing big
Shifter and trans fit in same spot stock is. Believe it or not.
Custom Wiring harness... A little work
AEM EMS- Vendor Bitch

Let me know Guys I wants some honest feedback.

How much power are you looking to make? In my honest opinion I would not do it unless you are looking to make 1000 whp+. If you are, you are going to need the v160 transmission not the R154. The 2jz-gte engine is heavier than the f20/22. The only benefit I could see to the 2j swap would be more torque (which the s2000 differential can't handle) Why not do a Sidewinder manifold on a 6262 (or bigger) with a v160 transmission swap and a Ford 8.8 Differential? It has been proven by many people on here that with an efficient turbo setup the F20/22 can make great power boosted,While still being reliable. There are most likely many things you are not considering as well. Your electronic power steering, Air conditioning, Upgrading the 2jz after buying....etc. If you buy the engine and just drop it in you will lose power over your current setup. It will cost quite a bit to modify the new engine. (Turbo, Manifold, & injectors) Just my opinion not trying to be rude, I hope this helps your decision.

Its more of a talking piece it seems to me, rather then a practical application. If you need the extra trq, then your going to need to upgrade the rest of your drivetrain parts, if your willing to do that, then you can get to the ground. Practically speaking, our engine is more then capable for anything you want to do with it. 2Jz swap is a cool talking piece though, I have always liked inline 6's

I've been considering a 2JZ or LS1 swap as well since my motor is blown. IMO an LS1 or LS3 swap is better and I'm not sure but I think it's lighter also
lets just hope i can resleeve my block cuz i really don't wanna ruin her.

I say LS swap, big HP & torque without needing FI = win!

What are your goals? Being you want to use an R154 I would say not very high. In that case I would stick to the stock engine. It's pretty strong. The only thing the 2JZ will get you is a little more attention.
