how much boost is 3.5? i am guessing 9 psi but i really am not sure.

No. I think it'll be more like 15-16psi.

On a Vortech that's the 15-16psi range.

from tech2 - a 4" pulley is 7lbs - a 3.5" pulley is 9lbs (Comptech SC)

lol i mean since, i have this boost loss due to the air traveling so far from blower to throttle body i lose 1 psi. do you think this is tuneable through the fpr? or should i get some fuel management?

Forget about psi. It's the amount of air you are getting (not the pressure it exerts) and the amount of fuel you are injecting.

If you have anything other than a stock Comptech kit I suggest you get it tuned. To do this you're going to need some tuning device. I'd suggest AEM EMS and if you can't run to that, E-manage with injector harness. 440cc injectors should do the trick.
