You can either listen to us or find out the hard way. It's your time and money after all. Stick with the OEM head gasket!!!!!

could you vguys do me a favor and link a few threads on the topic...

i'll be going with the inline pro kit GT3076 most likely...
I was under the assumption of "needing" a 3mm head gasket.....

after reading a lot of your comments I'm a little confused and would like to know the issues..

I see on ebay they have a knockoff of the manifold you use, made from the same material .. the manifold is only like 600 bills..

if I put together my own kit you think it's work a try?

When I was searchng, a lot of pre- 2010 turbo cars ran the 3mm HG. Seemed to be the thing to do... then the failures started.

Back when everyone was scared of the high compression...yes

tuning/tuners have gotten a lot better over the years.
