Default 3mm head gasket questions..

im about to get my car tuned in about a week or so. currently have a base map for the 3 hour drive to the tuner. I've heard mixed stories about needing a head gasket or not. i am aware that it will lower my compression which will make my motor safer while under boost but at my goal (420hp) will it be necessary? if anyone has had any experience with a similar set up as mine let me know. thanks.

Setup:
pfab top log manifold

aem v2 ems

godspeed intercooler and piping

Tial 44mm wastegate

Godspeed BOV (just for now)

Garrett Gt3076r

Rc 750cc Injectors

Stock HG will be fine, especially at that power level.
