3mm HG too thick for supercharger?
well for the moment i have re-supercharged my car, with hopes to either up the boost on lower compression, or switch over to the inline pro kit if i am not satisfied. with the notion that i might go turbo, the idea of throwing on a 3mm head gasket makes sense, but i dont know how it will work out with the CTSC. most of the SC setups i've read about ran a 2mm HG.
what are the limitations of the 2mm HG vs the 3mm, and would a supercharger benefit from the extra mm?
thanks FI nuts!

i ran a 3inch pulley on my comptech kit, and made 14psi. I made around 380whp with a 3mm headgasket. What i should have done was keep stock compression and run a 12psi pulley. I think it would have made better gains and not over spin the blower like i did with that pulley

I am running a 2mm. All stats are in signature. I think its the way to go for safety with a SC, no need for 3mm.
My tuner feels that a thicker HG ruins the quench area on the F20/22c.
Perhaps a reasonable price to pay for the lower CR...
