I just got my Stage 2 back from PuddyMod today. I had 4.44's an broke a tooth. I got him to put a 4.30 gear in.

I'm currently making 435whp an 266tq @16psi.

I'm hoping that I'll still feel a lil of that low-mid Umpff but gain a lil more up top.

Junky, My a/f is only at 11.2 at full boost. it gets richer as my rpm go up. Normal is around 14-15 and goes richer as the boost builds

Yeah don't really have to second guess any tuning by Evans. He definitely does it right. Probably the best Honda tuner in the country I would say.

My 2cents. I have a MY00 AP1, Vortech SC with 16psi, Sideway's cam keys, Comptech header with dual exhaust with added Vibrant 12" resonator, and high flow cat, and built motor with 10:1. My last dyno tune was 417hp but that was prior to rebuilding the stock motor. I would estimate a slight increase in power with the built motor (maybe +25hp but not sure since I dropped the compression).

I have 4.57 gears and although it is fun off the line, I really don't like driving it as sustained highway speeds. At 65mph, the engine is running ~4k & it annoys me. 1st gear is useless. If high rpm's on the highway are not a problem, then you might like it.

Unfortunately, I can not compare my set up to a stock ratio.

I would like to try a 4.3 or 4.4 Puddy Mod set up as I think this would be best all around. Just need the $$!

I guess I'll be that guy to bring back a dead topic as well. I had them and loved them for 315whp but with your power it will hurt your 1/4 time with all the shifting. Got rid of my S/C because I hate the power curve but traded my diff for OEM because with my custom turbo kit I want to shift less and be in boost longer. Same will apply to you.

Yeah was looking at having puddy build me a diff. But wasn't sure if 4.44 would make me happy. Is therea huge difference between 4.44 and 4.56?
