Default 4.5inch pulley really 9lbs?

So I just got my car back yesterday for a tune and my tuner's telling me he's only seeing 6.2 lbs across up until 9-9200rpms and at that point it bounces to 8lbs for a second and that's it.

We checked the belts and made sure they're tightened. He checked everything visually and there are no leaks. I'm running a vtsc w/ aem ems. His computer read that i'm only doing 6.2lbs and the boost gauge he hooked up was what read the 8lbs for the split second.

Is there anything I can do to get the boost where it should be? I bought this from automotive tuning and this was supposedly made to order. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have kv's should i pull those off? I'm guessing they shouldn't have anything to do with this issue.

You should see at least 9psi especially at 9200rpm. How much power did you make? Did you measure the pulley diameter from the belt grooves as opposed to the shoulders?

^ i haven't measured them but assuming i spoke to them over the phone and gave them all the needed details i was hoping i was going to get the right product.

My tuner was able to get 340whp but i was aiming at +350 if you ask me. The stock pulley made 323whp.

Just comparing the two by eyeing them the new pulley is definately smaller than the stock one.

You are within the ballpark hp wise for 9psi If you have the correct sized pulley you must have a boost leak. Perhaps the rear KV is not holding boost. If you have a boost gauge, take them both off and make a few runs. FWIW I run open breathers.
