Default $5,900 FOR COMPTECH SUPERCHARGER

Well i was looking around for a supercharger and found that diamond bar honda in california had the comptech charger W/aftercooler for MY04 for $5,900. It's a honda how much of a factor is the warranty issue.would i ever use it for any type of major service. I found a place online and they are asking for $4,950 for a vortech unit.So if i got it online i would be saving almost a $1,000.Do you guys think it's worth it to get it from the honda dealer?

For $1000 in savings I would DEFINATLY buy online... I am pretty sure even if you buy it there and have them install it, any warranty issues would be the same as if you bought online and installed yourself. I am pretty sure...

A Comptech sc installed by a Honda dealership will not void your warranty. Not sure if all Honda dealerships are certified or otherwise qualified to perform such work.

This is not entirely correct....A Comptech installed at a dealer will only(for certain) be warranted at the dealer that installed it. Other dealers may or may not deny you warranty coverage. It is not a honda policy, it is an agreement between the individual dealers and comptech.

Also this will still likely void any extended warranties that you may have. Unless you receive a guarantee in writing from a dealer that they will also honor your extended warranty.

Thank you for the clarification... there is nothing worse than misinformation.

$5900 with AC isn't that bad if the dealer is including the installation fees.
