Default 521whp stock engine

We turned up the boost on John's S2K to 26lbs with 100 octane. It is a non-ball bearing GT35/61 t3/t4 turbo. It is still the stock motor with our 3mm headgasket. After we finished dynoing it we took it out on the highway and in 4th gear at 65mph the tires would still break loose. Because of the time of year here all the tracks are closed so we can't run the car until the spring.
The motor has about 44,000 miles on it and we feel that the stock engine is capable of handling 600hp to the wheels. Honda has done an excellent job on this engine.

Enjoy!

boosteds2k hit 575 whp didnt he? Still, these motors seem to be VERY well built, provided proper tuning is utilized

great job Jeremy...what are you using for the tuning? Let John know I'm still working on the projects and the differential solution. I'll call him with some updates soon.

Are you using a EMS or the FMU/VAFC big injector combo?

We are using the Greddy E-manage with our 650cc injectors and an fmu. We tested the 650 injectors on our flow bench and with the increased fuel pressure they flow like an 800cc injector. We have tested these injectors up to 150psi and show no signs of locking up.

We are still using the stock ignition and stock headbolts. We have run the stock headbolts on the b-series motors to over 550whp with out any problems and the S2000 bolts are alot beefier. We are currently only experiencing one problem with the E-manage which is hard start hot. Obviously because Greddy does not recommend injectors that are more than 50% larger than stock for the E-manage. We originally tried running 850cc injectors and it only exaggerated the problem.

Keep in mind that we are experimenting with piggy back systems mainly so the end user has an easy and affordable way to tune these set ups.

If you want to see pictures of the set up there are some on our website
