550 cc injectors on stock computer

Default 550 cc injectors on stock computer

hey just wondering if 550 rc injectors will run ok on my stock computer. IM running a vortech supercharger and a timing and map box with fmu.

Absolutely not! It will run like crap and most likely tank your motor from fuel wash. If its a stock vortech kit, keep your OEM injectors and tweak the FMU as needed to get your AFRs to atleast 12.5 and preferably lower, like maybe 11.5-12 and be sure to use a 1 step colder resistor spark plug.

If you want to upgrade, get a stand alone ECU because piggys are a PITA and trust me, you will want the flexibility of a stand alone in the future.

Do not run the 550s with the OEM ECU.

Im gonna back pedal here some, what MY are you? If you are 06+ Then you can get FlashPro and then running the injectors would be as simple as a relfash from your tuner.

Ok sweet thats all i wanted to know.. I have an ap1 and its running on 10-1 fmu might have to go a bit higher its running at 10 afr at 3 psi and climbs to about 13 at 7psi.
