It seems that the step up for this blower is different than the 1200. I end up at 16psi at 8500 which is about 3-4psi lower than what I was running previously. I dont think that I am leaking boost anywhere, only two couplers between the blower and the throttle body. The after cooler isnt leaking and I check the diverter valve, its still holding. So the only thing I can come up with is there was a miscalculation on my part (doubt it, verified several times) or the step up ratio I was given by Paxton for this blower was incorrect.

The next step will be to get a custom pulley cut for the setup. I wish I had done this before Mase had come as tuning will be accomplished locally now unless we can figure out an E tune by Mase. I want to get closer to 20psi at 8500 and set the limiter a little lower than that. 20spi on e85 on a stock CR engine is pretty legit.

TJ from Nebraska <D1Disclaimer> made somewhere like 570s on e85 on his stock AP1 engine. Mase is comfortable with it and e85 does the work. He is very happy with his results.

As for the power levels I end up with on Friday, I made 465 on 16psi. That is more power than I had made on 16psi before but I need to overlay dyno graphs to tell exactly.

The car feels great. Took Mase out street racing on Friday night and ran a couple cars. First was a new mustangGT with a Vortech Kit. He claimed 475. The run was fun < Mase called my pull an Amtrak length, lol> There was no competition.

Next was a Fox body Mustang with a built and cammed 408ci with 150 shot.

First run was done with out spray and I pulled 7-8 cars. Next was sprayed and we started at his sweet spot in his first gear. He jumped. I started catching him in fourth pretty good as his spray ran out, but he shut it down as I neared his bumper.

Another thing to account for is the dyno. A stock AP1 S2000 ran a 183 if I recall correctly. Being as many cars will dyno closer to a mid to high 190s number, we decided the dyno was low.

Either way, Ill boost up and get those 500s back even on that dyno, haha. Car runs good. Each psi should accont for about 20hp on my set up. Im going to try for a 18psi run next to see of it gets me where I want. Less boost is always safer. Ill keep everyone up when I get it done.

Thats unfortunate but no doubt you will rectifiy it. Dont forget its taking even more power to turn this blower than the other one. Im sure you will get back to were you were with less boost and like you said it is always safer.

Was the 16 psi on 93 oct or e85? On 93 oct what would be the safe pressure?
