Looks good Joey! Hope you get some good numbers. I gave up on trying to get my blower off the bracket. I figured upgrading to the 1200 would be a waist of effort since it wouldnt be enough anyway's. 1500 looks good but I think I will go back to turbo at some point and get what I want then. My SOS kit isnt even stressing my motor and my low compression is hurting me with a supercharger.

Im anxious to see what you make!
your motor with a 1500 blower would be bad ass.

you should really do this before scraping the whole kit.

A local shop could not get them off with their standards tools either. They had to weld some nuts on them and use an impact wrench to get those suckers off.
Yup! They were a bitch so rather than strip them I just put it all back together. Joey said that he heated them up and got them to break but you need to get them red hot and i was a little worried about doing that.

Yes it would be sweet with that blower but I'm not sure I want to do all that work and be disappointed with the results. I might do it im not sure yet. But with the cost of the 1500 and a few other things I could sell my setup and put that money towards a turbo setup and get what Im looking for. Like I said everything is the air right now.

How much louder is it hey! Insane. So much for quiet sleeper status lol.

You're going 20 pound on stock HG?
I thought I was semi-game going 14-15.

Best of luck man, I have no doubt you'll love it.
Stock engine completely> But all done with e85. Seems to help it out a bit, lol.

Any help on whats the max power i can get out of the 1220SL? im running the stock pulley which is 8.5psi.

i also wish i knew about the 1200 upgrade. but at this point i cant do nothing that takes my car out of commision since its my DD.
Max power from a 1220, well as long as you have the fueling need, either e85, meth, race gas etc, Im thinking 470s could be had. The 1200 impeller will increase mid range quite a bit and adds some up top as well.

Mase, thats hard to say exactly but I have had it out every weekend just about. I do love running it everytime im out, but not to the point of abuse. I love the power it makes and with the widened wheels Im running and the 275 R comps, traction is awesome. Im really looking forward to what the difference will be between blowers. I heard from Paxton they will hopefully be releasing a race trim blower similar in size to the 1500. No word on when. But either way, with a built engine, there is no reason this 1500 setup couldnt take me past the 600 mark as is. 26psi peak boost.

I am currently at 11,0XX on the clock. Havin fun with her for sure. Thanks and looking forward to round 2!

I am sending my 1220 in for a rebuild, I am deciding whether or not to upgrade to the 1200, if I do, anything I should know or prepare for?

the upgrade is like 300 dollars, you'd be a big dummy if you didn't upgrade. Nothing to prep for, just make sure you are running your desired boost after putting it back together.

Yeah if your sending it for a rebuild there is no question about getting the bigger wheel. Its $160 for the wheel and about $50 bucks in labor. Its cheap for the increase in power.
