My compression is now roughly 8.8:1 from what I have been told with the 3mm HG. To hit 600whp Im estimating it taking around 22-24 psi range because of the lost compression of 11:1. I like having a big window for error with such low compression. If I had the money, I would build a 9.5:1 motor
in some cases, you go thru more headaches.
either way, good luck with the build, 600whp would be awesome.

the problem is that gasket lowers compression, but doesnt necessarily make it safer.

I dont know if I'll actually hit 600whp due to the lowered compression. Most guys making 600-620hp on E85 are 11:1. Ill probably be more around 560-580ish which definitely is still no slouch lol. Hitting the "600" mark would just be a wow factor I guess.

Im at 550 for the street at 19psi, it's more then enough power , especially considering the much cooler temps ahead

The downpipe won't be an issue lol. Its going to be done Tuesday afternoon. He has already test fitted that area for a 3" DP and everything is fine.
Wastegate, dump tube, and charge piping will be done tonight!
