The CNC shoo rear end is the way to go. It is a little more but keep in mind it's a brand new rear end from ford. And I believe you choose the gear ratio and it's sent to your door already assembled. Whereas the fbm kit is used rearends and you have to buy the correct size ring and pinion and the cost to install it. Also the CNC shop uses equal length axles. Which allows you to keep a spare on the trailer.
i personnally run the inline pro r200 kit on mine and have had it for about 25k miles without issue. So far have biggest issue was a torn boot that dss sent me a kit for at a good pace i might add and thats all. 3.90 final drive
car gets road raced, autocrossed, drag raced on the track and a few nights in "Mexico". cant complain but im sure for the more serious drag guys the 8.8 would be a more solid investment.
