Default -8 oil return

At work we do tons of -8 stuff on our hydraulic systems. I have always used -10 for all my turbo cars.

Would it be a problem to go to this size? This is one of the last things I need to figure out on my car.

Its a 1/2" line.

I've been using a -8 return line to the girdle on my JB turbo's for 7 years with not one problem and I also use a -3 feed from the relocation block with no restrictor. -8 lines are also used on my relocation kit for 7 years with no problems.

-8, I had something bigger, I think -10 and may have been the result of my oil pressure dropping and causing a rod to spin years ago.

Been -8 since 05 and have not had oil pressure problems since.

you cant go too big on the return. it doesnt effect your pressure unless its too small on journal bearing cartridges.

Bigger the better on the return.

5/8" Minimum is what I would do. 3/4" is even better on journal bearing turbos.
