Default ACT Clutch

I'm installing my S/C in a the next couple weeks.
My OE clutch needs to be replaced.

Just wondering if the ACT Street disc/HD pressure plate is enough, and how much harsher would the 6 or 4 puck be?

The ACT heavy duty w/ street disc kit holds a conservative 383 torq @ crank. This kit is on my car and its handling 431whp/290wtq without a problem. Engagement IMO is about the same as OEM.

Go into 4pad/6pad only if you intend to race the car frequently with limited street use.

My Exedy hyper single 6 puck took a few weeks to get used to.
I daily drive my car as well.

Had an ACT 6 Puck with Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and Comptech Flywheel - used it for about 2 weeks daily driven before I sold the car. Honestly, I had no issues with it and thought the clutch grabbed nicely.

Then again, I can get used to clutches a lot easier than most other people I know.

Thanks for the replies... I'll probably stick with the street clutch, as I don't intend on going anything over 375rwhp anytime in the near future...

That weird, my 6 puck dosent really feel MUCH diffrent that stock. Its just a LITTLE more shaky when taking off from a stop, but once the car is rolling its just like stock.
