more streetable clutch disc advice please
Hi everyone. I need an advice for a good streetable clutch disc.
Right now im running boosted around 600 hp to the engine, torque unknown unfortunately. I was running a full competition clutch stage 3 and 11,5pounds flywheel kit for almost 3 years and went out last month ( 1 of the spring popped). I replaced the DISC ONLY with a stage 4 disc from competition clutch and its awfull in the street. Very noisy clutch buzz and very hard to take off without major slipping or it will shake like crazy.
I really liked my stage 3 disc but I wanted to know if there is something better in that price range?? I plan on only replacing the disc since the flywheel and pressure plate are in really good shape.
I've seen ACT too but they mention to use only ACT pressure plate with. I just want the clutch to hold the power and still be the most street friendly possible

I would contact SOS about the https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...0-2000-09.html
I have their Sport kit with 11.5lb flywheel and wouldn't change it for any other kit. I had a Exedy Hyper single stage 3 kit and hated it.

There isn't going to be anything that can handle that kind of power in a single disc clutch price range and still be easy to drive. I was in the same situation as you, my CM FX500 couldnt hold the torque. The only option is to go twin disc, carbon twins are the most streetable. I bit the bullet and bought a carbonetic triple disc. I believe SOS still produces their carbon twin, but its north of $2000
