Default Advice

Recently installed a Comptech with A/C, test pipe, stock 5.5lb pulley, J's header and test pipe. Car ran fine on initial start up, driving to the tuner and back from the tuner (approx. 25 miles since install). Now is running horribly and fuel fouling the plugs faster than I can replace them and heavy fuel exhaust. I have tried backing off the FPR (tuner had it dialed all the way in) and little to no results. Is it possible that the FPR is stuck? I have not had a chance to check and see what fuel pressure is at idle, I have gone over everything and install looks fine. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have installed several of these and have never had any problems. Thanks

get a guage on the fuel rail and measure the fuel rail pressure. that will tell you everything.

I would not drive it until you get it checked on a wideband AF

The fuel pressure gauge write up is nice, I'll probably use this. Has anyone run into this before?

until you do not get the fuel pressure guage you will not know if the FPR works. Remember to take off the vacum hose when setting the Pressure that you want.

Some cars needs one turn to lean the A/F others 3 turns
